Temple of the Northern Way

Temple of the Northern Way is the religious arm of NWAM. The temple offers a complete course for those seeking ordination as Asatru clergy. There is a probationary period, and coursework is designed to give students a good grounding in the beliefs, history, lore, and the practices of Asatru. TNW insists that anyone wishing to become ordained by the temple follow the guidelines set forth in the NWAM credo. Upon graduation the student receives a certificate as an ordained Asatru Gothi or Gythia.

The Northern Way Asatru Ministries credo:

• Asatru is historically a Northern European belief and those seeking to explore that side of their ancestry should be allowed to do so.
• Individuals should be judged by their words and actions and by no other criteria.
• That all are welcome to come to our services as long as they are respectful of our beliefs.
• That we do not deny the existence of other deities but they are not our deities and we will not worship them.
